Get Away For A Parents Night Out

Local parents looking to have some grown-up fun and take a little break away from the kids can enjoy a Parents Night Out, courtesy of our friends at Gurnee Park District. The night is set for Saturday, March 10, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Hunt Club Community Center on 920 North Hunt Club Rd. in Gurnee. Here at Knauz Autopark, we are pretty excited about this because all parents definitely deserve some time off from making dinner, helping with homework and the nightly effort of corralling their children to bed. There are two time slots to drop off the kids: 5 to 8 p.m. for ages 1 to 3 and 5 to 9 p.m. for ages 4 to 11. After you drop them off, go out, enjoy a nice relaxing dinner or maybe even some dancing. The community center staff are ready to entertain your little ones with age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, refreshments and a lot more. They also will be free to use the center’s various amenities and children ages 6 and older can tackle the climbing wall. It is guaranteed to be a night that everyone in the family will enjoy, especially all you adults. At Knauz Autopark, we are happy to support an event that gives Mom and Dad some time off and also engages kids in activities that they are sure to love. Pre-registration for the March Parents Night Out is required and you can register online here. The costs are $13 for residents and $16 for non-residents. For more information on the March Parents Night Out, visit the Gurnee Park District website or find the district on Facebook. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #KnauzInTheCommunity when you post on social media and we hope the adults have a great night out on the town.
