Here at Knauz Hyundai, we're proud to represent a company that continuously proves its dedication to innovation, and environmental responsibility. The hydrogen-powered Tucson Fuel Cell is one such example, and the water vapor-emitting SUV is proving that you don't need fossil fuels to go fast.

This past Wednesday, at the Soggy Dry Lake Bed in Lucerne Valley, California, the Tucson Fuel-Cell set the land speed record for a production hydrogen powered SUV when it reached a top speed of 94.6 miles per hour. During the record setting performance, it also proved its SUV prowess, handling the off-road terrain with ease, thanks to its ample clearance, available AWD, and solid structure.

Fortunately for us, Hyundai was on hand to document the performance. Check out the video below to see eco-innovation in action.

With a range of 265 miles, and a refueling time period of only a few minutes, the Tucson fuel cell matches the commuting convenience of traditional gas-powered vehicles, without the environment-harming emissions.
